The espadrille, which is being produced in La Rioja, northern Spain, is made of a cotton canvas upper, hand sewn to a sole made of braided jute. Both elements are completely biodegradable and no chemical products are used in their manufacture.
The natural organic cotton is transformed into fabric in manufactories located in the region of Valencia, Spain.
The feeling of wearing a traditional handcrafted shoe made of organic material makes you feel in contact with nature, while creating a cool, joyous and fashionable look.
