Frequently Asked Questions
What are espadrilles?
The espadrille is a traditional shoe which has been popular for many centuries. This lightweight shoe made of jute rope and woven cloth, origination from Spain, was already worn in the thirteenth century by the infantry of the King of Aragon. The name “espadrille” derives from "esparto", a reed that was originally in use to make the soles.
How to clean an espadrille?
It's really easy, just place your hand inside the espadrille and brush the canvas with a little water and sope. Let the espadrilles dry in the shade.
My espadrille is tight, is it the correct size?
Yes, because when you've worn your espadrilles during a few hours, they will take the shape of your foot, rendering the experience very comfortable.
